St Columba’s Hospice strives to ensure everyone within Edinburgh and the Lothians has access to excellent palliative care whoever they are, wherever they are and whenever they need it.
Since the day the Hospice first opened we have been an independent charity at the heart of our local community, providing care and support to people when they need it most. All our services are provided completely free of charge to all patients and their families.
The Hospice has a 30 bed inpatient unit and we also see patients as outpatients, in our day services, and in the community too. We work with patients and families to find out what matters most to them. Making the time to explore what is important to patients and the choices they have is fundamental to our care.
